| Details: | This system has been transferred to a state regulated system because of the MPA results and are now a GU system. After speaking with the operator the system still has the boil water notice in affect because they are unable to monitor the chlorine at the entry point to the distribution to make sure they meet the 4 log-inactivation for viruss and 1 log-inactivation for giardia. They are currently working on installing the chlorine analyzer so they can be removed from the boil water advisory. Lifted 09/22/2021: The water system installed plugged flow piping (161 feet of 24 inch pipe) for chlorine contact time that achieves 1.0 log inactivation of giardia and now complies with the interim requirements for GWUDI sources. The boil water notice will be lifted today and the water system is planning to install filtration as required by the GWUDI determination. |
