Details: The City of Hillsboro, a community system in Washington County serving approximately 88,2430 people, has issued a partial boil water advisory to 228 residential connections near the intersection of NE Jackson School Road and NE Harewood Street. Repair work resulted in a loss of pressure to this area this morning. Customers impacted will be notified. Samples will be collected and analyzed for coliform bacteria once the repair is fixed, pressure is restored, and the water main is flushed. Results will be communicated to DWS staff to lift the boil.

Lifted 09/18/2021:  The partial boil water advisory issued by the City of Hillsboro for 228 residential connections near the intersection of NE Jackson School Road and NE Harewood Street has been lifted. Samples taken Friday (9/17/21) came back negative for TC/EC.
