Details: | Working details out with the State for testing in the future as the facility was closed in 2021 and a new water system was put in place. Email 2/32022 The State looked at this in more detail and considering the time period that they were closed due to COVID (my understanding is they reopened in Sept 2021), for compliance calculations I will be treating the schedule as if it is a new DBP schedule that started in 3Q2021. As a result, the LRAA’s for 1Q2022 are: • TTHM – 0.058 mg/L • HAA5 – 0.055 mg/L Both of these are below MCL so no violation will be issued this quarter. There is a high likely hood of them exceeding MCL in the 2nd quarter. If they don’t collect a sample they will exceed (the LRAA’s will be the values on the alert issued today). If the 2nd quarter TTHM result is above 0.044 and/or HAA5 result above 0.011 then the LRAA will be above MCL next quarter. Email 2/4/2022 State recommends they test wells 3 (and 4) for total organic carbon (TOC) and/or dissolved organic carbon (DOC) to see what DBP pre-cursors they might be dealing with. |
