Details: 02.23.2022-Caleb emailed me requesting assistance from the circuit rider.

Phase 1 assistance: the Circuit Rider would help them submit a Letter of Interest to complete a feasibility study. In the interim, the system will continue to work with Optimum Environmental Corp to stay in compliance with the monitoring and reporting requirements for community water systems.

Phase 2 assistance: Caleb would use the feasibility study to select the best upgrades to redesign the water system treatment process. This would include exploring the uses of existing wells on site. The system would then apply for SRF moneys or other sources to help finance the upgrades.

A new well was drilled on Feb 15, 2022. It is approximately 18 ft. deep, has a flow of 3 gpm and is currently disconnected. Caleb and Jonathan were reminded that the new well will has to go through plan review process to be considered an approved source. The system will continue using the surface water source.

An email was sent to Civil West Engineering requesting assistance. Update: Marlin emailed me on 02.24.22. He is pulling Matt Boley, on of his team members, to help with this request.

Next steps: The system is currently on a boil water advisory. To lift the boil water advisory the system has to confirm that all corrective actions identified in the recent L2 coliform investigation have been addressed. Also, the RT sample result for February should show absence of coliform contamination.
