| Details: | 03.07.2022 - I spoke with Mary Kimball over the phone this morning. I inquired about their daily population using the water system at the lodge and she stated that the lodge is receiving a max of 6 customers per day during the peak months (November – December). Including Mary and her husband Mark, the total population served is 8 people. Since the population served is less than 10 people per day, their water system no longer meets the minimum population requirement to be classified as a public water system (PWS). Note that a system is not a PWS unless there are 10 or more potential consumers for at least 60 individual days in the operating period. Next steps: A request was made to SDWIS to inactivate the system. Maelagh, the REHST doing the food and lodging inspections was also notified. No further actions needed. |
