| Details: | 03.09.2022-Disinfection Residual and CT not met. I discussed with Corinne the reasons why the system has failed to meet CT requirements for Oct-Dec 2021 and Jan-Feb, 2022. She stated that when the ambient temperature dips to 32 degrees (F) or lower the chlorine in the system rapidly disappears. This results in inadequate disinfection. All water operators have been told to carefully watch when the daily chlorine measurement is below 0.60. At that time another gallon of multichlor is to be added to the system. Signs have been posted in multiple locations to remind operators, but several operators have forgetting to increase chlorine dose when levels are low. Circuit Rider assistance will be considered to help the system find a better way to ensure CT is always met. Update: the system post a Tier 2 notice for January and February.
