Details: | 12.06.2021-DBP test results for the 4th quarter of 2021 exceeds the Maximum contaminant level (MCL) based on Locational Annual Average results for TTHM and HAA5 samples. Corinne posted a Tier 2 notice informing customers of the situation and a copy of this notice was sent to DMCE. During a phone conversation with Corinne, she stated that part of the problem has to do with the GAC filter not being used at the moment. The GAC filter is currently disconnected from the water filtration system due to a temporary issue with the fitting. It will be reconnected within the next few weeks. She is hoping this will help bring down the DBP levels in the future. The system also had an OEL exceedances for HAA5 in the 4th quarter of 2021 and multiple OEL exceedances for both TTHM and HHA5 in the past 2 years. An OEL report is required to be submitted no later than 90 days after receipt of HAA5 and TTHM test results indicating the OEL exceedance. This was identified as a rule violation in the 2021 survey. Circuit Rider assistance will be considered to help the system with the OEL report. |
