Details: Operators at the City of Keizer informed DWS of 2 positive total coliform detections at their routine sampling sites 800 Pinehurst Ave NE and 1600 Alder Dr NE. The system is in the process of collecting repeat samples (original site, downstream and upstream) as well as triggered samples at the 5 operating wells.

Operator did note that they are in the process of conducting their annual watermain flushing which likely resulted in the +TC detections.

Repeat sample at 7656 Broken Top Ave NE came back positive for TC and the system has collected the repeat samples for that detection, one at the original site, upstream and downstream. System is aware that no more than 5.0% of monthly samples (consisting of both routines and repeats) can be total coliform positive. There have been 3 positives this month which means a total of at least 60 samples for the month (routines & repeats) must be absent to avoid triggering a Level 1 coliform investigation.

Repeat samples for 7656 Broken Top Ave NE have come back negative for total coliform and E. coli. System is working on taking the extra coliform samples so that the total of April's coliform samples totals up to 60 samples.
