Details:	Michael called the after-hours phone to report that the manganese-removal filter and colorimeter malfunctioned and pink water entered the distribution system. Sodium permanganate is used in the treatment system and may have been overfed. This is the first problem they have had since the system was installed in July 2021. The source is now off line. Michael measured total manganese at 0.039, when their baseline is normally 0.025. The vendor recommended the colorimeter be calibrated annually, but will visit the site tomorrow. They will be able to meet demand with storage and other sources for about 3 days.
