| Details: | Kevin called and we reviewed the 5 confirmation coliform source samples (Well 2) and distribution sample. The sample result for the distribution was absent for bacteria, however, all 5 confirmation samples were positive for total coliform with 2 positive for e. coli also. The system had a circuit rider visit in 2009 and a tracer study had been done. The system easily meets the required contact time to inactivate any potential viruses associated with e. coli. Kevin will be taking the pump apart and cleaned to see if there was anything that had gotten wedged in it to cause the contamination. A sample prior and after the pump will be collected. At this time, we are requiring the system to assume 4-log inactivation will be required. The only extra step needed for this is a daily free chlorine reading that will be noted on the monthly form and submitted by the 10th of the following month. A monthly form template was emailed to Kevin for this purpose. | ||
