| Details: | Spoke with Kevin. Discussed operation of collector well #2. The collector well was inspected and no obvious source of contamination was found. Discussed the requirement to measure turbidity daily at both collector wells, and the requirement to keep the pumping rate of well #2 at or below 6000 gpm to retain the source's classification as groundwater. Discussed the requirement to start recording daily chlorine residual measurements on the supplied compliance monitoring form and submit it monthly. The minimum chlorine residual of 0.2 mg/l required for 4-log inactivation of viruses has always been met, so no boil advisory is required. Chlorine residual is typically kept in the 0.7 to 0.8 mg/l range. | ||
