| Details: | On 9/15 we received a notice that Inglis Water Coop's drinking water system had a water sample result that came back positive for e. coli. I called and spoke with Katherine and Dallas Weaver, who told me that Skip Ryan would be the main person in charge for this water system, and they provided me his number. I called Skip and left his a message on his office and cell phone stating that due to the positive e. coli result, a boil water notice is issued, and the boil water public notice will be required to be submitted to all users of the system's water. The system is to collect a follow up repeat sample either at or right near the tap that yielded the positive result, as well as at the source. I told Skip that once the water samples test negative for e. coli and total coliform, the Boil Notice may be lifted. (The phone number listed above is Skip's cell phone number) |
