| Details: | I called to follow up with Skip Ryan, who covers water system operations for Inglis Water Coop Water System. It turns out after consulting with DWS, a Boil Water Notice and public notification is not yet required in this case, as e. coli was determined in a Routine sample, but not yet confirmed in a Repeat sample. I also told Skip, after confirming this with DWS, that for this Oregon Very Small (OVS) System only one Repeat sample in distribution is required, but a source or "triggered" sample at the Spring is not required as it is a chlorinated system. Skip said that next week the Repeat sample will be collected and taken into the lab, and at that time Inglis Water Coop's Vice President will be in charge of that at the time. |
