Details: On Thursday DWS was notified of two short events of not meeting CTs on the afternoons of Oct. 29th and Oct 30th for 15 minutes and 45 minutes, respectively.

Since the residual was never zero, and the times out of compliance so short, and since some CT was provided, it appears that this does not trigger a violation. The public health threat appears negligible according to the data provided.

Pete is still reviewing the data with Jacobs, Sandy's contractor at the Alder Creek WTP.

Action Required:
  • A fuller account of the event from Jacobs
  • A better determination of how the events happened
  • A plan for how this can be prevented in the future
