| Details: | Complainant emailed concerns about the quality of the water. Received additional complaints through OHA & PUC from same complainant. The complaint's concern was over the safety of the water & negative health impacts on their family. The system has history of high iron from the Routledge well (EP-C). This well is now an emergency well only. The new well (foxglove) has treatment that removes iron & manganese. Emailed complainant to let her know that iron is a secondary contaminant is not regulated by OHA. The system meets all other Oregon drinking water standards. Checked in with the water system staff. The Foxglove filtration for iron/manganese is working properly. There is iron remaining in the distribution system & can get stirred up from hydrant flushing. |
