Details: | Curtis from Highland Water called on 9/11/2023 indicating they had taken some more lead and copper samples and they had come back with another exceedence and asked if they were required to report them. I let him know that they were required to report based on Drinking Water rules and sent him an email indicating that. "You asked about samples and if it was mandatory that they be submitted to the State after taking them. The answer is, yes". OAR 333-061-0400 Section 1 (b)(A). https://www.oregon.gov/oha/PH/HEALTHYENVIRONMENTS/DRINKINGWATER/RULES/Documents/pwsrules.pdf#page=171 In the LCR section of the OAR’s – 333-061-0036 (10)(e)(B) Note: this is in the invalidation section: Water suppliers must report the results of all samples to the Authority and all supporting documentation for samples proposed to be invalidated. So they must report all results – we can approve or not any invalidation request on them. I spoke with State Drinking Water staff to make sure the right information was given on the next steps, which is documented in this contact report. https://yourwater.oregon.gov/cr-detail.php?crisn=16472 Alert came out on 9/19/2023 |
