Details: I contacted Mr. Mitchell who is the direct operator and contact for this water system regarding the recent E. Coli positive repeat samples from 11/2/23.
He stated they just completed shocking of the system which may now mask subsequent samples required.
I asked he flush the system extensively and wait until 11/9/23 to allow as much time to get any residual chlorine out of the system so we can assess actual ground water quality. He will be submitting 5 confirmation samples at the source on 11/9/23.
I also scheduled a level 2 investigation for this system and informed him the system would be required to begin monthly sampling for coliform.
