Details: SWTR violation-failure to meet CT requirements on November 6-22, 25, 27, 30.

12.14.2023-During the MS Teams meeting today with the attendance of Casey Lyon, Michael Murphy, David Funderburk, and Corinne Clifton, Casey pointed out that the system has erroneously been using 1.0 log inactivation to calculate the required daily CT. The correct log inactivation requirement is only 0.5 for giardia. Michael updated the SWTR form for the month of November.

Next step:
- Michael will email DMCE a revised version of the SWTR form for the month of November. Weiss Estes would then be in compliance with both CT and minimum chlorine level requirements. The October noncompliance was due to a chlorine pump failure. This has been corrected.



12.07.2023- I contacted Michael and Corinne via email and advised them to post a Tier 2 notice. The system was also made aware of their system score unaddressed points. The system has over 20 unaddressed points. With this score Weiss is classified as a priority non-complier (PNC) system.

Next steps:
- A meeting has been scheduled to discuss the reasons for the reoccurring violations related to CT and minimum chlorine. This system is a potential candidate for a SUDC grant.

- The system was required to submit a copy of the public notices (PNs): One PN for not meeting CT and Cl2 during the months of October and another PN for not meeting CT during the month of November. The system may consider combining the violations for both months into one PN.

- The operator was also advised to provide a copy of the Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) for 2022, and a copy of the CCR certification form.
