| Details: | Background/Problem Identification: Evan Hofeld with OHA reached out to the circuit rider to assist the Kelly’s Brighton Marina water system with increasing contact time in their disinfection segment of the water treatment plant. Assistance Provided: The circuit rider visited the water system and discussed options for increasing the contact time of the disinfection segment with E. Hofeld and Kelly’s Marina Staff. It was decided at this time the best option would be to install baffling in the form of spraybar inlets on the tanks and retest to see if the system could gain additional contact time. In the event that the spraybar method was ineffective, plumbing the first small tank in series with the other two would be the logical next step.
