Details: | Matthew Burgess with Boeger & Associates, LLC provided an update via email: Due to the well location, and the water association not owning a 100ft radius around the well, the site plan was not approved. Carrie Gentry did give conditional approval for everything else except the well. To get the well approved, we will need to drill the well and have OHA come out to evaluate it to confirm we are in a confined aquafer. They will also confirm we have sealed through the unconfined aquafer. Based on our well specifications, and surrounding well log information, they feel we will be in a confined aquafer. I spoke with Brian Daily with rural development, and here is our approach: • We will split the project into two parts. • The first part will be drilling the well, and getting it evaluated by OHA. This involves recreating all the documents and preparing new plans for rural development that show just the well. Once the well is approved by OHA, we can move onto the next part of the project. We will also need to go through the waiver process to resolve the 100ft radius issue. • The second part will be the rest of the project from the reservoir through distribution. The documents and plans will not include the well since it will be considered existing. |
