| Details: | Young Life's 2nd quarter results for DBPs showed that the LRAA for TTHM's (0.091 mg/l) exceeded the TTHM MCL of 0.08 mg/l. The operator sent a Tier 2 public notice of the LRAA exceedance to customers on 6/17/2024. "We routinely monitor for the presence of drinking water contaminants. Testing results from July 2023 through June 2024 show that our system exceeds the standard, or maximum contaminant level (MCL), for TTHM. The standard for TTHM is 0.080 mg/L. It is determined by averaging all the samples collected at each sampling location for the past 12 months. The level of TTHM averaged at one of our system’s locations for July 2023 through June 2024 was 0.091 mg/L." The system is currently working with contracting engineers to include treatment for the on-going DBP issues in the system and treatment should be online by the end of summer 2024. |
