| Details: | Phone call with Jocelyn regarding nitrate result over the MCL at 10.1 mg/L. I let her know to take a confirmation sample and that result will be averaged with initial result to determine if treatment is needed. I also notified her that quarterly sampling for nitrate is required going forward. UPDATE: 6/21/24: After talking with OHA, I called Jocelyn back to inform her the confirmation sample is not needed as the result of 10.1 is not a MCL violation. However, quarterly sampling will be required and Lane County Drinking Water will need to submit chemical sampling schedule change. NA Follow Up - Water system was on quarterly monitoring in 2013, results show highest results in 3rd quarter. System will start sampling in 3rd quarter going forward. Discussed treatment options with operaotr and to start discussing plans with water system moving forword. |
