| Details: | I spoke with Mike Persons about public notification for the Skyview Acres water system and he stated residents do receive copies by mail, combined with water bills about every two months. He remembered receiving copies of public notices regularly but couldn't cite specific dates but it was clear from our conversation that residents served by the water system know there are ongoing water quality concerns that may not be resolved until the construction of Portland's new water treatment plant. We also discussed the 2023 consumer confidence report which does not accurately communicate the concentrations of HAA5 and TTHM in some samples but does clearly indicate the MCL violations occur. Lastly, we discussed the possibility for developing a groundwater well and I stated I would try to initiate the process to have a feasibility study conducted to determine the viability of such a project. | ||
