| Details: | I called Mr. Jacob to discuss the overdue public notice and corrective action plan. I stated the public notice is due as soon as possible because the water system has essentially been in violation for a year and DWS hasn’t received a notice since February. David said bills will get mailed in a couple days and he would make sure it’s included with them. Mr. Jacob said he wasn’t sure what to include in the action plan because he thinks the problem was a “one-time” circumstance. I referred to the extremely high results last December and stated if he truly thinks that purchased water from Sandy was a problem, that he could provide a plan that addresses the water quality at the Dodge Park sample site (where the problem appears to be regular). I said future sampling at multiple sites would indicate whether the corrective action was effective and whether the water from Sandy ever causes a problem again. Mr. Jacob said he would make sure these actions are completed quickly. |
