| Details: | Today contact was made with the owner/operator of the facility, Neal Reynolds. Mr. Reynolds was already aware of the water quality alert for his facility. At the time of the phone contact, Mr. Reynolds had an employee of Grants Pass Water Lab at the facility pulling the required repeat samples. Mr. Reynolds explained that he had shocked the system using chlorine yesterday, before repeat samples were pulled today. A phone call was then made to Grants Pass Water Lab to ensure that the samples were tested for residual chlorine. This was confirmed. Samples were tested for residual chlorine and all came back negative for residual chlorine. Lab confirmed that 4 samples total were taken; one source water sample as well as 3 repeats as required. Lab will have the remainder of the results tomorrow. |
