2/4/19 - Received distribution sample results that were absent for E. coli and coliforms. Discussed that Boil Water Notice would continue until the firm acquires a DPD test kit for testing for residual chlorine levels at first treated sample tap. System operator is required to document residual chlorine results on daily log to verify that system is properly operating. Operator agreed to provide copy of the boil water template that is currently posted. Lifted 02/07/2019: The firm completed the following requirements to have the boil water notice lifted. The firm submitted documentation of record keeping for residual chlorine testing. The facility submitted results indicating that a 1.5 mg/L residual chlorine was measured at the entry point spigot and 1.5 mg/L residual chlorine was measured in the distribution at the furthest spigot from the well. The firm also participated in a Level 2 investigation. Going forward the firm is required to record daily values that are no less than 1.0 mg/L residual chlorine at the entry point and at least twice per week record a detectible residual chlorine value in the distribution. This documentation will need to be submitted monthly to Shane Kinney (ODA Inspector). |
