| Details: | I was contacted on 12/6/2018 by Carl asking how the system should proceed with the requirement to test their source given that the well pump is inoperable, the piping is disconnected and the system does not expect to be operation until after the new year. I consulted with Gregg Baird of Drinking Water Services and Jeff Green of ODA: Food Safety. Three options were given., including miss the tests and receive violations, inactivate the system and reactivate it when the well is repaired, or test the water that is coming from the City of Salem to the offices. It was decided that regardless, the annual source sample would not be able to be satisfied since the well was used during the year the test would still be required, but the well was not available and Salem was not the source listed for the system. These options were presented to Carl via email on December 19th, 2018. | ||
