Details:	PFAS sampling conducted as part of the fifth round of the Unregulated Contaminant Monitoring Rule (UCMR5) showed PFHxS at 3.9 ppt at entry point J (EP-J) Wiessner well and PFHxS at 3.5 ppt at entry point U (EP-U) Carlhaven East well for samples collected on 6/18/24. These results do not exceed the new PFHxS MCL of 10 ppt (compliance will be based on a running annual average) that systems must comply with by 2029. A letter was mailed and emailed to the water system on 8/26/24 which included information on how the results compare to the new MCLs, requirements to notify customers of availability of results and report detections in the annual consumer confidence report, and information on Emerging Contaminant funding available to address PFAS.
