| Details: | Operator called regarding the arsenic sample that tested 2X over the MCL. He explained that the reason for the high result is that the water system reservoir was taken offline for leak repairs and the well VFD pump was pumping directly into the distribution system which was causing issues with the chemical feed rates and backwash process. He said the storage tank is back online and the chemicals are feeding as normal. He said he was going to collect a sample next week to make sure the arsenic is below the MCL. Due to the high result, the system will be required to start collecting quarterly samples for a year. | ||
