| Details: | This water system has an ongoing High Nitrate values. They are required to sample on a quarterly basis but has elected to sample on a Monthly schedule. Alerts are generated each month but since the system is only required to sample quarterly NCPHD has been contacting the system on quarterly time schedule. The system has contracted with a Engineer to redesign the system using a reconstructed well however since this system is in the Gorge Scenic Area they are severely limited as to the types of activities that can take place without Wasco County Planning approval. The engineered plans are projected to be done in April and then they will be submitted to the planning department. It may be necessary for the system to hire a archeologist for a cultural impact study which has the potential to delay the needed work for an additional time frame. The system is attempting to move forward but is experiencing delays beyond their control. They are working on correcting the survey deficiencies noted on the previous survey.
