Details: | Customer Complaint - water causing blue stains 01.17.2025-The water system operator, Corinne Clifton, was contacted via email. Corinne Clifton stated that the water system has not experienced any operational issues at the water plant. The water system has not made any recent changes to its chemical treatment processes or operational procedures. Next steps: The system is currently awaiting their water treatment specialist to come and replace the membrane and install corrosion control treatment by March 31, 2025. I requested authorization to initiate a Circuit Rider support to assist the system with investigating this issue. 01.16.2025-DWS phone duty received a call from a person that lives on Weiss Estates Ln. The complainant stated that the water is turning everything blue. The complainant indicated that this has been an ongoing issue since they moved into their house 6 years ago. DWS phone duty explained the likely cause (elevated copper), outlined the water system's current plan to address the issue, and provided a consumer action to minimize exposure to elevated copper levels. Next steps: Contact water system operator to investigate the issue. |
