| Details: | 01.28.2025 This system has been conducting additional testing to investigate several instances where HAA5 levels exceeded the Maximum Contaminant Level (MCL). The latest batch of DBP sample results is part of this ongoing investigation. The operator has been contacted and requested to provide an update and any new insights into the cause of the HAA5 MCL exceedances, specifically the recent exceedance observed at the Merlin Landfill DBP sample site. Craig reported that the month prior to the sample was exceptionally wet, leading to significantly elevated levels of organics in the river, as confirmed by the water plant. He speculates that the system is currently normalizing but emphasized the importance of continued flushing of the furthest reaches of the system to prevent water from becoming overly aged. No further actions needed at this time. |
