| Details: | I phoned Corinne to see how progress was coming on the OEL report after we spoke about it on Feb. 8th. It is over due, since the Administrative Order had listed a 1/31/19 due date for both the OEL report and their Corrective Action plan. Corinne said she was still messing with the formatting of the OEL report and data values, but she thought she would be able to submit it later today or tomorrow. I also informed her that she would be hearing from our enforcement staff because the 1/31/19 corrective action plan submitted addressed the violations for disinfection treatment (CT), but did not address the 2nd issue - ongoing disinfection byproduct exceedances. Corinne said she had not realized that her response needed to directly address both issues. They do have plans to address DBPs - she is working with their DRC to determine how often and how much flushing of the distribution lines is appropriate, and the HOA is seriously considering installing a carbon filter to remove any DBPs formed before water enters the distribution system. |
