| Details: | I received notice from administration that the operator had called our office to report a loss of pressure event. I reached out to Kevin and we discussed what occurred. A main feed line broke resulting in a loss of pressure. Line was fixed by staff and reservoir chlorinated. Water sample was taken today to check for contamination. Operator stated that a boil water notice was issued and they had stated to customers to expect chlorine in line. Chlorine should get to the end of the impacted distribution line later today. We discussed the need for them to submit a copy of the public notice they issued to customers and to certify their distribution of the notice within 10 days. I would get them a copy of the certification form via email. |
