On February 26 and 27,
- first user pH and temperature were not measured and recorded, as the Alder Creek Plant only operated from around 4 to 7 am on both days, prior to staff coming in for daily rounds at the plant,
- consequently, CT required could not be calculated for those days.
- all other parameters, such as chlorine residual and flow, were monitored appropriately.
We discussed:
- Sandy will use conservative lowest temperature and highest pH data collected at the first user for the month of February to calculate CT required for these two days, as chlorination was not interrupted,
- as a result CT achieved was greater than CT required for both days,
- consequently, CT's met for February, as noted in the monthly report,
- staff will review protocols to ensure parameters for CT determination will be measured daily.
