| Details: | On 12/9/25 The operator called the DWP phone duty line for assistance as he was unable to reach me. The phone duty technical staff created a contact report. He was instructed to take three repeat distribution samples and a triggered source sample. I spoke to the operator on 12/10/25. We discussed following good aseptic procedures. I instructed him to get sampling guidance document from the lab. On Friday 12/12/25 the operator called to say the 2/3 repeat distribution samples and the triggered source sample were TC+. The operator reported he was going to shock chlorinate the well and distribution system over the weekend. We discussed discussed taking a special sample once chlorine residuals were at zero. I asked if they had a free chlorine test kit. He indicated that he did. We discussed that a Level 1 investigation would be required and that a letter would be coming to the mill. I will send the operator the Level 1 template. |
