Complaints include frequent boil orders, leaks, lack of water, and other water quality issues. These reasonable complaints and are well-established due to the lack of capacity at the water system.

A few years ago the standard practice was to use the GWUDI well next to the nearby creek when water consumption got high in the summer. However, that water source is untreated surface water, with a high-pathogen content potential, and therefore not allowed for use.
So while residents had water then, and there weren't any boil orders, they were being served untreated water. Therefore recent conflict has been commonplace as improvements and changes are being made to the water system, like adding meters, moving water lines, fixing leaks, boil orders when the low-flowing well cannot keep up with demand, etc.
More complaints are expected, however, the community is in a tough place, and the only way through it is to work together for the next few years.
Use the regular water board meetings to listen, learn, and to air concerns.
