| Details: | Part 2 of 2 Continued from complaint part 1 of 2 here: https://yourwater.oregon.gov/cr-detail.php?crisn=24028 Issues raised in the complaint: 1) Leak on water system side of service connection not repaired in a timely manner. 2) The possibility that a repair on utility side of the service connection may have led to a leak on the customer side, which the customer was then billed for. 3) Some residents pay a flat rate, others are metered and pay more. 4) Despite metering, notification of leaks on customer premises is not timely. Customer received bill for thousands of dollars and was threatened with service shutoff in the event of failure to pay. 5) Difficulty reaching operators to get an explanation of bills or to coordinate repairs. 6) Customer claims they were switched from base rate to metering with no notification of the change. |
