| Details: | 02.17.2026 - Tara, with Quinns Well Pump & Filtration Services reached out requesting guidance with the proposed surface water treatment. Next steps: Technical guidance will be provided to Tara by the DWS regional engineer. To proceed with the plan review process, the system is required to submit a design approved by a licensed professional engineer. 01.22.2026 - CT tracer study completed. Contact time T10 was determined to be 65 minutes. The minimum chlorine residual concentration of 0.57 ppm at the first user sample tap (storage room sink) must always be maintained under worst-case water temp and pH conditions to meet the required CT. Next steps: The operator was advised to purchase surface water monitoring equipment, specifically: chlorine meter, thermometer, pH meter and a turbidimeter. 01.06.2026 - The operator reported that the plumbing modifications needed to conduct the CT tracer study have been completed. photo documentation provided. 01.02.2026 - The operator contracted Quinns Well Pump & Filtration Services to complete the following plumbing modifications to the system: - Relocated the existing digital flow meter from the influent side of the treatment process to the effluent side of the contact tank. - Install a new 4-GPM flow restrictor on the influent side of the treatment process. - Replace the existing totalizer flow meter located on the influent side of the treatment process. Next steps: - Morgan will provide Steve with photos of the changes made to the plumbing. - Tracer study scheduled to be conducted on January 21, 2026. |
