| Details: | Two customers in Welches served by Salmon Valley Water Company called DWS with concerns on 3/18/26 about their drinking water quality and utility rate increases. Customers noted water as being periodically discolored and having solids, causing them to install secondary treatment system in their home. DWS reviewed Data Online and communicated that no recent water quality alerts are present, and the system is in compliance. Customers complaint was forwarded to Clackamas County Health Department that has regulatory authority over Salmon Valley Water Company. Clackamas County Health Department has been in communication with the complainants over several years. The Public Utility Commission has also been contacted and is gathering public comment on a case to evaluate the proposed rate increase. |
