Details: Spoke to Phil today. He took 3 coliform samples yesterday. Unofficial word is all are negative for coliform. If true, Phil will lift the boil order when he receives word.


Phil fixed the broken pipe below the slough as the tides allowed. Then he increased the residual chlorine to 2.5 ppm for a few days. Then reduced it to 1.1 ppm, and flushed the lines. Then took coliform samples yesterday.

We also discussed posting a sandwich sign at the two entrances to Midland to make sure every resident and visitor is notified of the boil notice. The reverse-911 calls did not achieve 100% message delivery May 14th.
