| Details: | Received word that their April GWR 4-log report for WTP-A, the lower treatment plant, reported a residual of 0.94 on April 9, and their minimum at that entry point is 1.0. (The level was corrected by the next day.) This is a treatment technique violation, requiring a Tier 2 public notice. I helped Kent Downs (Curry Community Health) locate the correct PN template. He drafted up the notice and Vic from the water system signed and posted it. The notice was posted behind the desk at the main office/lodge, year-round residents come to get their mail, and RV customers check in. I informed Vic that the posting can come down after a week, since the situation has already been corrected. Second discussion was about plans to add storage tanks soon at the lower WTP. Discussed possible impacts of adding raw water versus finished water tanks there on the imminent tracer study. It sounds Vic will be adding 2 more raw water holding tanks (2500 gal each) to the two similar raw water tanks already there. They wanted the additional storage because on summer weekends when the population and demand is high, the creek is running low and it takes a long time to refill the tanks from the creek side well. | ||
