| Details: | Spoke with Bill regarding the sample collected at EP-K Well #2 - Willamette Manor on June 13th that detected trichloroethylene at 0.0018 mg/L. The city is required to monitor chemical annually in the first quarter. Voluntarily sampling is done more often to monitor chemical trends. Prior detects range from 0.0005 mg/L to 0.0027 mg/L. Bill noted the city has worked with DEQ to find contaminant source and no source has been identified at this time. The city has monitoring wells installed to evaluate chemical movement in groundwater. No further action at this time. |
