| Details: | With the latest (Sept) DBP results, the RAA again exceeds the MCL for HAA5. The result for TTHM has not yet been posted. I notified resident Lynne Leisy (who will do the public notice) and HOA president Corinne Clifton that another public notice will be required. Once the latest TTHM result has also been posted, they can see whether the annual average is still over the MCL for both TTHM and HAA5 compounds, or just for HAA5. That will determine the language for the notice. I gave them the weblinks to see the RAAs, and instructed them that the public notice must be posted within the next month, with a copy to DWS within 10 days after distribution. Note: Weiss Estates was installing new treatment to address DBPs (including a granular activated carbon filter), but the installation was delayed this summer. Installation is now expected in October. Fingers crossed that this is the last quarter for DBP violations. |
