| Details: | I spoke with Karen regarding my draft of a new compliance agreement proposed by DWS to address arsenic contamination at the water system. Karen stated the HOA is going to pursue funding for a feasibility study before finalizing plans for the treatment system approved by homeowners at the water system. I stated the proposed agreement allows for the board to propose and DWS to agree with reasonable deadlines for all the necessary actions after the initial action plan so the feasibility study is a natural inclusion into the agreement. We discussed majority HOA approval of construction and costs as well as the fluctuating arsenic results in drinking water. I stated that DWS will be very reasonable but because arsenic is permanently present in the geology, there must eventually be a permanent solution to ensure arsenic in the drinking water at Sleepy hollow is always at safe concentrations. | ||
