Details: | The auto-flusher is not setup just yet. And that could be the reason for the late-July exceedance after we discussed it in early July. Two auto-flushers should be online soon. Also dead-end line flushing has been started weekly since the summer. The second DBP site was identified at the 1MG Aspmo reservoir. Accordingly, a strategy for cycling the water to reduce water age in the reservoir was designed. It requires regularly adjusting pressures at the WTP. The good news/bad news is that the water system has fixed a lot of leaks over the last few years, which could have inadvertently increased water age in the distribution system. At least that's one theory for what has changed. Action Await imminent DBP results this month. |
