| Details: | On October 24,2019, Michelle Byrd with Drinking Water Services spoke with Wayne Looney at Westridge Subdivision to discuss their plan to reconstruct the original well since the new well did not provide adequate flow to meet their needs. The plan is to seal off the lower portion of the well to avoid mixing water in the shallow and deep aquifers. Their consultant Jim Newton is checking with Water Resources Department (WRD) to make sure the proposed modification meets their rules. If WRD has no issues, I informed Wayne that a preliminary construction plan will need to be submitted to DWS for review to ensure our construction standards are met. I also made him aware of the chemical monitoring due before the year’s end. Wayne will follow up with me once he has spoken with Jim. |
