| Details: | I called Mr. Lee to explain the administrative order DWS issued on November 26. I explained that Bryce Brewer, the onsite manager at the water system, has not returned calls from both DWS and the Douglas County Health Dept. Mr. Lee stated that poor cell service is a problem and suggested that calls from Bryce are not returned. He also stated there have been many operators over the years, the well is near a septic drainfield and that the area around the well is prone to flooding and standing water. He also said it would be difficult to site a new well near the park. Ultimately Mr. Lee stated he wanted to provide safe water and comply with all of the regulations. I stated there is still an opportunity to contest the order if he believes the violations cited are incorrect and he said they would just conduct the monitoring listed in the order. I verified I had the correct email address for Mr. Lee and sent him the order a second time and asked that he call me if he or Bryce have any questions. I also said that Caroline Gross-Regan and I would call (possibly with some other people) before the system is opened in the spring and make sure everything is clear and the operator knows exactly what to do. | ||
