| Details: | A routine coliform sample at Whaleshead tested TC+ while I was on leave last week. Upon return, I saw that they had collected the required 3 repeat samples per their coliform sampling plan, and the results were absent, so they are fine for now. I phoned Corinne up to review the situation. We discussed what may have caused the positive result (since they had a similar result in October). It could be either poor sampling technique which allowed contamination, or a poor choice of sampling spigot. I reviewed some considerations when selecting good coliform sampling sites. | ||
