| Details: | SUMMARY: Wellfield Determination DETAILS: A wellfield determination was conducted to determine if both Well #1 and Well #2 drew water from the same aquifer. Results indicated that both wells do indeed draw water from the same aquifer and that Well #2 should be used as the sampling location for IOCs, SOCs, and VOCs. Well #2 was selected as the sampling location due to the presence of more high risk land use practices near the wellhead and the fact that it was listed as the primary production well in the December 2005 Sanitary Survey. Annual nitrate samples should still be taken from both Wells. Furthermore, The IOC waiver granted to Well #1 should be applied to Well #2 as both wells draw from the same aquifer. Details forwarded to Region 2 lead worker for entry into SDWIS. ACTION NEEDED: Changes in monitoring schedule need to be entered into SDWIS. | ||
